Pixel.Reality

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Pixel Reality Corp. ("Pixel.Reality", "we") runs pixelreality.us and the private demo at pixelreality.us/demo/. This policy explains what information we collect there, why, and what you can do about it. We only collect what the site needs to work.

Our app PixelNet has its own privacy policy at pixelreality.us/pixelnet.

What we collect

When you visit the website

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider, IONOS, records basic technical information for each visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This keeps the site running and secure.
  • Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
  • No cookies, ads or tracking. Our public pages don't set cookies and don't use advertising or cross-site tracking. We don't currently use analytics. If we add them, we'll use a cookie-free service that only reports totals, and we'll update this policy.

When you email us

If you write to us, for example to request demo access, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply.

In the private demo

  • Sign-in. After you enter the demo password, a cookie remembers that you're signed in for 30 days. It contains no personal information. If we gave you a personal access code, the cookie is tied to that code so we can turn off access for one person.
  • Name and birth year (optional). If you enter them, they personalize the film inside your browser. We don't store them on our servers. If the birth year shows you're under 13, personalization switches off and they aren't used.
  • Your what-if. When you type a what-if and generate a story, the text is sent through our server to xAI, our AI provider, which writes the story. Your first name and approximate age go with it if you entered them and are 13 or older. Neither our server nor xAI keeps a copy: our xAI account uses zero data retention, so the request is discarded once the story is written.
  • Limits and abuse prevention. To limit daily stories and password guesses, our server keeps short-lived counters tied to a scrambled code made from your IP address, not the address itself. They're deleted automatically within a few days. Your browser also keeps a small count of today's stories, and remembers whether you've finished the film so you can skip to the end next time.
  • Story pictures. If you save or share a picture of your story, it's made in your browser and stays on your device unless you share it. We don't receive it.

What we don't collect

The website and demo don't collect brain or neural data, biometric data or health data. If a future Pixel.Reality product ever involves data like that, it will come with its own privacy notice and ask for your explicit consent first.

How we use information

To run and secure the website and demo, answer your messages, manage demo access, and understand in aggregate how the site is used. We don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. We share only what's needed with the providers who help us run the site:

  • IONOS, for hosting
  • xAI, for writing what-if stories in the demo, with zero data retention
  • Google Fonts, for loading fonts
  • Our email provider, for messages you send us

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or people's safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

How long we keep it

Demo counters: a few days. The sign-in cookie: 30 days. Emails: as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs: according to our host's standard retention.

Your choices and rights

  • You can use the demo without entering a name or birth year, and you can skip the what-if.
  • You can delete the demo cookie and site data in your browser settings at any time.
  • Wherever you live, you can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to xou@PixelReality.us. We'll respond within 45 days.

Do Not Track

We don't track visitors across other websites, and we don't let third parties do so through our site for advertising. So nothing changes whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Children

Our website and demo aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), our AI key stays on our server, and we keep as little information as we can. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold.

Where information is processed

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on the site.
